What's your interest in telework?
I'm ready to return to the job market after a child-rearing hiatus, and would prefer to do so by teleworking.
Do You Work from Home?
Not at the moment
About me and my telework experience
I began teleworking in 1990, when my husband took a job 150 miles away from my employer. It was a wonderful experience! Since then, I've been able to telework full time for one employer, and on an as-needed basis for others, to good effect.
Employee or Entrepeneur?

What's so Great About Telework?
I'm much better able to focus in my own environment than in an office, so I'm more efficient. There's no wasted commute time, either. We're a one-car family living in an area with very poor mass transit availability, so teleworking allows me to be "greener" as well!
Do you have any advice for teleworkers or would-be teleworkers?
Set clear boundaries, especially with your family or other housemates, regarding your workspace and working hours. Don't get drawn in to the lure of "I'll just do this small household thing" during working hours, either--that can become a way of procrastinating. Teleworking can give you more time with your family, but if you have young children you may need to arrange for someone else to care for them during your working hours.

Who makes the decision to integrate telework programs?

In your experience, is it a financially based decision? Is it made by the owner or CEO; the CFO; human resources, or someone else?
